Gender-Affirming Tips & Tricks
If I cannot get gender-affirming care from SAGA or medically transition, how else can I combat gender dysphoria?
You could get a gender-affirming haircut, buy and style a wig, buy/thrift clothes of your preference, or wear makeup (contouring can be used to appear more masculine too!). There are also non-monetary things such as affirming self-talk, talking with a friend, and finding hobbies to occupy your time that bring you enjoyment or fulfillment (for example: journaling, reading queer-friendly books, etc.).
